This issue of the Journal of Health Science and Prevention features seven articles covering key topics in public health, including health system preparedness, behavioral health, environmental innovation, and nutrition. The first study evaluates disaster readiness in Puskesmas using the Hospital Safety Index, followed by research on the impact of smartphone addiction and family support on maternal caregiving. Other articles explore the use of Sansevieria trifasciata for improving indoor air quality, a risk control model for adolescent stunting, and validation of a developmental screening tool. Additional studies highlight sustainable bioplastic capsules from sugarcane bagasse and the role of dietary patterns in healthy ageing. Collectively, these articles emphasize integrated approaches to improving public health outcomes.

This issue presents seven articles addressing key themes in public health, nutrition, hospital management, and health technology innovation. The first article examines health communication interventions in stunting prevention, followed by a performance analysis of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial General Hospital using the Balanced Scorecard method. Other studies highlight the influence of caregiver education on asthma patient behavior, parental understanding of toddler nutrition in Mendalan Village, and IoT-based water quality monitoring as an early detection system for contamination. Additional contributions include a cost-effectiveness analysis of stunting prevention in the first 1000 days of life and factors influencing pulmonary tuberculosis in stunted toddlers, emphasizing integrated efforts to improve community health.
