Indonesian Psychological Research is an open access and peer-reviewed research journal published biannually (January and July) by the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Psychology and Health, Universitas Islam Negeri (UIN) Sunan Ampel Surabaya. The Journal accepts research articles that employ either quantitative or qualitative approach and cover topics in the areas of Work and Organizational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Educational Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and Social Psychology with implications for psychological theory, research, and practice. Researchers, academicians, professional psychologists and students are welcomed to submit their manuscript to the journal. Submissions are accepted all year round. Nevertheless, the journal takes major theoretical or methodological contribution to an advancement of psychological science as its priority in publishing articles.

Indonesian Psychological Research is accredited by The Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology and indexed by SINTA with Rank 2 / SINTA 2 (starting from Volume 5 No. 1 of 2023 to Volume 9 No. 2 of 2027). Since 2024, articles are published in English language.
